A detailed description of Gulika has given in the post A Study On Gulika . But missed the topic Gulika Bhavanadipa dosha and hence this post. I have read a lot about Kendrathipathi Dosha in Vedic astrology but not about Gulika Bhavanadipa dosha.I would like to share a brief idea on Gulika Bhavanadipa dosha here.
Gulika spoils the benefic results of the houses by
occupying them,the house which it aspects, the planets conjoined with it and the lord of the house it occupies. The lord of the house occupied by Gulika is called Gulika Bhavanadhipa and because of the presence of Gulika in that particular house, Gulika bhavanadhipa is considered as malefic and causes Gulika Bhavanadipa dosha.
The malefic effects of Gulika will get reduced only by the aspect of Jupiter and by the conjuction of Jupiter.In addition to its aspect on 7th house, Jupiter possess special aspects on 5th and 9th house with full strength . It doesn't means that there will be no adverse effects but aspect and conjunction of Jupiter can reduce the malefic effects to a great extend. Gulika Bhavanadipa dosha will no longer exist in rashis Dhanu (Sagittarius) and Meena ( Piseces) as they are ruled by Jupiter.
